In May and June, Kelly Nipper, a young media artist from Minnesota, filled the rooms of the Kunsthaus in Zurich with an exhibition conceived to echo the origins of experimental dance. A tribute to Rudolf von Laban, considered one of the founders of modern expressive dance, it drew inspiration from a selection of his watercolours and archives held at this Swiss museum. Kelly Nipper used them as the starting point for a series of works. The core of the project was the impressive Black Forest performance.
