A prominent theme in the design of contemporary living spaces, the matter of transformable environments can now be addressed with some new, sophisticated and versatile tools. One worth highlighting is Cover by Rimadesio (design by Giuseppe Bavuso): a system of made-to-measure hinged glass doors that enable walk-in closets to be made in different shapes and sizes and any alcove or leftover space transformed into an accessorised storage area or built-in wardrobe. Versatile and dynamic, the system uses internal fittings that are directly inserted into the supporting structure of the door, without the need for wall fixings. The design also includes an extensive range of dedicated accessories including bases, shelves, clothes rails and drawers. The collection also features various elements that extend Cover's design and applicative potential to the living room and home office or even actual offices. These include shelves (straight or corner) with a depth of 400 mm and 1,100mm suspended drawers with push-opening and toughened-glass top.
