Les Revenants: architecture and afterlif

From France, a country of cultural exceptions that has decentralised a major museum like the Louvre to an economically depressed region such as Lens-almost as if it were a homeopathic cure-we have Les Revenants, a new TV show whose stars are the living dead. The series is surprising firstly for its indistinct position between life, death and the world, and secondly for the function of architecture in guiding the story. The adventure begins on a dam and continues in a rigid grid of ultramodern buildings, filmed with cool detachment by Fabrice Gobert.
