The Nimbus company's new LED lamps do not "only" give light. They include number of techno-enhanced features such as a capacitive controller, a presence detector and an ambient light sensor. The lamps know when we walk into the room, they give us the weather forecast, and know when we go away again. When everyone leaves, they turn off automatically. The Force One (photo above) is a technologically cutting-edge dimmable task lamp for the workplace with an ultra-slim head (20 mm thick) screened by acrylic glass. The entire control system is housed in the base.
