Metamorphosis, the new collection of artificial suede by Alcantara, takes inspiration from natural elements and the world of men's tailoring. The 14 materials have a handcrafted feel that highlights the uniqueness of the composite, a fusion of style and technology. Surface-processing techniques include printing, embossing,laminating and electrofusion. It is the first time that an Alcantara collection for interior decoration was made entirely by its in-house team, "from creation to development", says president and CEO Andrea Boragno.
