摘要

The Industrial Design and Applied Arts Department at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design, the University of Ljubljana was founded in 1984 (as the Academy of Fine Art Design Department) by Slovene architects and designers, students of renowned modernist architect Edvard Ravnikar and other internationally trained designers. The founders brought design knowledge from all over the world. The school - a meeting point between Western and Eastern Europe - coalesced a broad panoply of experiences and cultures.
