TWO LOOKS AT ITALY

Milan's Czech Centre is presenting 40 pictures (until 20.2.2015) in a major human and artistic comparison on Italy as a country and a society. The "K&K" exhibition features two Czech photographers - Frantisek Kratky (1851-1924) and Pavel Kopp(1940) - whose pictures and allusions prompt reflection on surviving gestures and behaviour 100 years later. The project is curated by Cesare Colombo for the Centro di Ricerca e Archiviazione della Fotografia in Spilimbergo.
