The capacity of a form to be attractive and to establish a style can be measured in relation to the permanence of its qualities with respect to the passing of time. Such is the case with the taps designed by Gio Ponti in 1953, that have been relaunched today in a new line of products by Mamoli, that remain faithful to the proportions and design of the original product. The angle drawn by Ponti characterises the appearance of the cross handle, creating a subtle equilibrium between an original sense of decoration and a marked tendency to abstraction, typically modern. In the reissue proposed by Mamoli the materials and details have been studied with great attention. Both with the sink group with 5/4" outlet and in the wall-mounted sink group and again in the bath group, complete with wall spout and shower attachment, the spout of the tap is made from cast brass, the handles are in diecast metal and rose in brass. Meticulous finishes, available in three elegant versions: chrome, 24K gold, brushed brass. In the shower the spray and rain head and shower head, accessible, are made in brass with black grip. The version with traditional three holes with ceramic screws comes in an energy saving model thanks to new generation Neopearl aerators. Opening and closing takes place with a rotation of 180 degrees.
