Our Trillion-galaxy Universe

The article discusses the estimate of astronomers on the universe that consist of more than one trillion galaxies. Topics mentioned include the use of Hubble Space Telescope in determining the number of galaxies in the universe, the Hubble Deep Field image, and the distribution of galaxy masses and luminosities through Schechter function that combines the normal distribution and power-law.
