The Internet offers a gold mine of data to sex researchers. Ogas and Gaddam analyzed a billion Web searches, millions of sex solicitations, and lots of online porn to find the visual and psychological roots of desire. Titillating stuff, but the authors' intent is purely scientific, of course. Their portrait of wildly divergent human sexuality ends with good news: Each of us is somebody else's greatest fantasy.
