Study on Giuseppe Castiglione, a Court Painter in the Qing Dynasty

摘要

At all times and in all countries, exchanges between China and the west are always a constant topic. From the Qing Dynasty Lang Shining Chi nese and Western painting, a new form of painting Chinese painting formed after ab sorbing some of the characteristics of Western painting. In this paper, th rough the comparison and research between painting and Chinese traditional meti culous painting subjects Chinese and Western Qing missionaries painter La ng Shining, to explore the characteristics of Lang Shining new body painting and realisti c significance to modern fine brushwork of Chinese and Wes tern fusion.
