摘要

Additive manufacturing, also known as 3D printing, is a cutting edge technology these days. It forms an element of the industry 4.0. Industry 4.0 aims to apply the most advanced technologies already existing to the sector, giving rise to a new model in understanding production. This technology is still in development. Thus, it is important that research is conducted in order to obtain the necessary knowledge about it.The objective of this study is to analyse the behavior of the flexural strength of plastic specimens printed in 3D through FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) varying certain printing parameters. Plastic material chosen has been PLA (polylactic acid) which has extended use in this area.
