The modern concept of handball, defense is the cornerstone of the team that wins trophies at various major sporting events. For spectators and amateur attack is a development technical and tactical skill of the players, a movie spectacular phase, twists, where players give vent to their capacity for initiative and creativity. Instead, the defense requires hard work, systematic and continuous, requiring over tough training regime effort. “A good attack wins games” and a “defense wins championships,” said Olivier Krumbolz, although this section of the game is far from attractive.(Michalsik et al., 2011) All global confrontation brought news regarding methodology training performance models play in defense and attack continued growth of technical mastery, individual and collective tactical versatility and a high degree of psychological preparation appropriate conditions imposed by exercise mentally required obtaining a superior sports performance. (Massu?a, 2011) This study allows us to analyze comparatively the development teams ranked in the Top 3 editions XXI and XXII Men's Handball World Championship in terms of psychological involvement in solving concrete problems of attack and defense. Thus, the parameters are evaluated game throws at 7m, counter and attack quickly overtaking action and assists, technical mistakes committed in attack, interceptions, blocking the balls thrown, closing lanes penetration, and sanctions applied behavior playing sports outside regulation limits. I got to play defense in the analysis, interceptions made by the defender, shot blocking gate closing lanes penetration and penetration. Experimental group had 133 cases of defense interception of 1483, representing a rate of 8.9% of total revenue in possession 120/1483 defense cases (8%) blocked throwing balls at the gate and 140/1483 defense situations (9.4%) individual and collective actions to closure of penetration and penetration corridors for bears. The control group received 152 (13.8%) of 1098 cases of interception of defense, 104 (9.4%), locking balls thrown at the gate/1098 defensive situations and 128 (11.6%) individual and collective actions the closure of penetration and penetration corridors for bears/1098 defense situations.
