pAntibodies were produced against purified β-iN/i-acetylhexosaminidase from iDictyostelium discoideum/i. Ouchterlony tests produced a single precipitin band with both β-iN/i-acetylglucosaminidase and β-iN/i-acetylgalactosaminidase activities. Both activities were co-precipitated in exactly the same proportions in quantitative immunoprecipitation reactions. We conclude that one enzyme protein catalyses the hydrolysis of both iN/i-acetylglucosaminides and iN/i-acetylgalactosaminides./p
