摘要

This paper proposed a handheld fruit harvesting device for improving efficiency and reducing cost. Firstly, a kinetic model of dual driven vibration system was built, which was based on size calculation of eccentric block. Then, structure design of a handheld harvester was carried out on basis of stress analysis. A prototype system was made including clamping head, motor driven exciter, controller and battery backpack. An Arduino based controller was developed to adjust the operation frequency and excitation mode. Furthermore, experiment was conducted with a LabVIEW based program to verify the vibration mode and frequency of developed handheld fruit harvester. Obtained results shown that the dual motor driven harvester could provide sufficient power and adjust the excitation mode with high efficiency. Field experiments are expected to validate the operation efficiency with current handheld harvester.
