Research on the Vocal Music Feature Extraction and Short-term Analysis of Dancing Robot

Along with the development and progress of computer technology, the 21st century has become a brand new time of information and artificial intelligence technology. At the same time, people’s demand for spiritual and cultural life keeps increasing, which also, to a large extent, gives birth to people’s eagerness for entertainment products, and dancing robot is a distinctive product among them. Dancing robot refers to the robot that can dance along with music. The research on it has integrated different subjects like acoustics, musical theory, and the theory of digital signal processing, among which, the effective extraction of vocal music features is the prerequisite. This essay mainly adopts the research methods of short-term processing of time-domain and time-frequency. We also extract the vocal features of the dancing robot, which includes the vocal signals like pitch, intensity and music emotion. Furthermore, we also combine the host computer with the slave computer and send the vocal signal feature parameter extracted from the host computer to the slave computer to realize the matching of robot’s actions with the vocal signal feature parameter.
