The interest in John Fowles's work has not waned since the author's death in 2005. In fact, a brief search of academic articles on my university's library website yielded 96 articles published in only the last three years. Among these recent articles is Naomi Rokotnitz's fascinating "'Passionate Reciprocity': Love, Existentialism, and Bodily Knowledge in The French Lieutenant's Woman."
