Theeffectofangularcorrelationsonself-consistentsolutionsforsingle-particle(sp)potentialsininfinitenuclearmatterisinvestigated.Tothisendwetreatexplicitlytheangulardependenceoftheparticle-particle(pp)propagatorinBrueckner-Hartree-Fock(BHF)equationforthegmatrix.Itisobservedthattheexactangulardependenceofthepppropagatoryieldshighlyfluctuatingstructures,posingstringentdifficultiesintheactualsearchofself-consistentsolutionsforthespenergy.Aperturbativeapproachispresentedtoevaluatetheeffectoftheangularcorrelationsintheself-consistentsolutions.SolutionsatFermimomentakFintherange1.20-1.75fm-1arereportedusingArgonnev18nucleon-nucleonpotential.Althoughthesppotentialsaresensitivetothetreatmentoftheangularbehaviourofthepropagator,suchsensitivityappearsatmomentawellabovetheFermisurface.Asaresult,thesaturationpropertiesofsymmetricnuclearmatterdiffermarginallyfromthosecalculatedusingangle-averagedenergydenominatorsinpppropagators...
