The knowledge formation of olympic subject is an important condition of increasing of interest to physical culture

The role of knowledge of Olympic subject in the formation of positive attitude to physical culture is revealed in the article. The results of investigations affirm that the improvement of pupils awareness on Olympic movement influence the increasing of their interest to physical culture, understanding of cultural and educational ideals and values of Olympic sport, positive influence on the formation of moral, inner and aesthetic culture of pupil's individuality.
