Air disaster and its implications in the developing countries: a case study of Nigeria

In this paper, Air disaster also known as aircraft accidents has been a real litigation towards development in developing countries having claimed lot of lives, rendered many homeless, motherless, fatherless, childless. It has even affects the socio-economic development of countries especially developing ones. This study thus, examines air disaster and its implication on developing countries using Nigeria as a case study. It derives data from secondary sources and employs the concept of Acts of God and the Chaos theory as the basis of its theoretical underpinning. The study examines the causes and effects of air disaster in Nigeria and recommends ways to reduce the menace of air disaster. The study will be at great importance to researchers and policy makers.
