This paper focuses on the relationship between work-related stress and subjective well-being as experienced by public elementaryschool teachers. To achieve the purpose of the study, a descriptive-correlational research design was used and 104 teachers were asked torespond to the NUT Teacher Well-Being “Ready Reckoner” and Satisfaction with Life Scale. Finding after statistical analyses revealedthat teacher-respondents of the study had low levels of work-related stress/ greater levels of well-being and were mostly satisfied withtheir lives. It was further revealed that SWB is correlated with low levels of work-related stress as indicated in the significant moderatelypositive correlation between the two variables. Recommendations of the study highlighted the need for teacher-support programs that mayhelp buffer teachers against work-related stress.
