Abstract:Objective To explore the nursing effect of early establishment of artificial airway for patients with severe craniocerebral injury. Methods A total of 60 patients with severe craniocerebral injury were randomly selected and divided into control group and treatment group, 30 cases in each group. The control group was given regular respiratory nursing, while the treatment group was given early establishment of artificial airway and related nursing. Nursing effect was compared between two groups. Results The total effective rate was 51.51% in the control group, which was significantly lower than 98.2% in the treatment group (P0.05). Incidence rates of asphyxia induced by airway obstruction and lung infection caused by aspiration in the treatment group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P0.05). Conclusion Early establishment of artificial airway and standardized management can avoid the accidents caused by unsmooth respiratory tract, reduce the risk of asphyxia and complications as well as improve success rate of rescue in patients with severe craniocerebral injury.
