Abstract:Objective To summarize the emergency nursing management on acute poisoning by digestive tract absorption in children. Methods Retrospectively analyzed the clinical data of 30 cases of acute poisoning by digestive tract absorption in children. Modified gastric canal insertion and gastric lavage with different fluid was performed. Results All 30 children were cured and discharged after receiving emergency treatment and nursing. The nursing management mainly focused on psychological intervention, gastric tube and gastric lavage nursing, and health education. Conclusion Timely and effective gastric lavage is key in treatment of gastrointestinal acute poisoning in children. It is also important to enhance the education in legal guardian, in order to provide a safe living environment for childen.
