Abstract:Objective To observe the effect of targeted nursing intervention in patients with sudden hearing loss undergoing hyperbaric oxygen therapy. Methods A total of 34 patients with sudden hearing loss undergoing hyperbaric oxygen therapy from January, 2014 to April, 2014 were selected as the control group, another 37 patients from January, 2015 to April, 2015 were included as the intervention group. Both two groups were given conventional nursing care, and the intervention group was applied with targeted nursing intervention. Results The overall effective rate was 91.9%(34/37)in the intervention group and was 73.5% in the control group, with a significant difference (P<0.05). Conclusion The targeted nursing intervention could increase the efficacy of hyperbaric oxygen treatment in patients with sudden heating loss.
