Abstract:ABSTRACT: Objective To strengthen the reproductive health education so as to reduce maternal mortality. Methods A questionnaire survey was carried out for 16 ectopic pregnancy patients with hemorrhagic shock to understand treatment situation at that time, awareness and attention to ectopic pregnancy knowledge of theses patients, and its preventive measures. Results All the 16 women were lack of contraceptive methods, monitoring their own reproductive tract health and the early signs of ectopic pregnancy, treatment time and its preventive ways, which caused missing the best treatment opportunity. Conclusion Strengthening the reproductive health knowledge and the ectopic pregnancy knowledge education for childbearing age women can decrease the incidence of ectopic pregnancy, reduce the operative cases and maternal mortality, and improve conservative treatment success rate for the women with ectopic pregnancy.
