Construct the silk road economic region by reform

The Silk Road Economic Region is a new strategic plan to push forward the opening-up and development in west China, and a hard-won opportunity for the development of the adjacent countries and regions. System and mechanism innovation is the major impetus for the development of modern economy and society. The present system of administrative management, financial and taxation system as well as investment and financing in our nation cannot satisfy the demands of developing Silk Road Economic Region. A basic thinking has been proposed in this paper on the system and mechanism innovation during the construction of Silk Road Economic Region, which believes that system and mechanism innovation in the aspects of administrative management, finance and taxation, investment and financing should be actively pushed forward to bring in steady impetus for the development of Silk Road Economic Region.
