The ETRS Award

At the time of the formation of the Federal Council of the then Non-Destructive Testing Association of Australia, now the Australian Institute for Non-Destructive Testing, Phillips Electrical Pty Ltd offered to endow an award to be known as the "Phillips Award". The award was intended to foster progress in non-destructive testing and act as an incentive to members to prepare and present papers relating to the practice and development of non-destructive testing in Australia. After many years of co-operation, Phillips reluctantly withdrew their support for this award. Fortunately ETRS were prepared to provide backing for the award. The conditions governing the award are set out below.
