Code of Practice for the Security of Radioactive Sources

The NSW Department of Environment and Climate Change (DECC) and the Australian Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Agency (ARPANSA) are hosting training for New South Wales stakeholders concerned with the implementation of the ARPANSA "Code of Practice for Security of Radioactive Sources".rnThe Code of Practice places special obligations on organisations and persons who deal with security enhanced radioactive sources. The training which includes lunch, is a key event for the implementation process for 2009, and is FREE. It is suitable for radiation safety officers, risk managers, OH&S managers, practitioners, and those responsible for compliance with radiation legislation.
