The incentives offered are to help Australians through this economic transition and to encourage a strong, highly trained workforce. One example of these incentives is the monetary assistance available for signing up new and existing staff with a RTO (Registered Training Organisation). Up to $4000 is available to employers of staff who complete a Certificate III/IV training courses, which is made up of $1 500 for commencement and $2500 for completion. There are also state specific benefits for enrolment. For example in Western Australia there are also payroll tax exemptions for registered trainees.
