CD-ADAPCO ANNOUNCES EXPANDED STAR AMERICAN CONFERENCE PROGRAM

CD-adapco has announced what it is calling a significant expansion of the 2009 STAR American Conference program. The company says a record-breaking attendance at its 2008 STARAmericanConferenceandunprecedented demand for its flagship STAR-CCM+ software package has inspired CD-adapco to hold four STAR American Conferences in 2009, each focused on a specific industry sector.rnThey include the STAR Global Forum: Simulation for Energy Engineering in Houston, TX, from June 23-24; the STAR Global Aerospace and Defense Forum 2009 in Southern California from September 1-2; the STAR Global Marine Forum in Southern California from September 1-2; and the STAR Global Vehicle and Powertrain Forum 2009 to be held in Detroit, Ml in November 2009.rn"By focusing on a specific industry sector in each of the four conferences, we hope to be able to fully explore the tangible business benefits that can be gained from adopting an automated approach to engineering simulation in that industry,"says Bill Clark, CD-adapco's senior VP of operations.
