Israeli Designer Izhar Gafni has come up with a slick, waterproof cardboard bike called the Alfa that relies on an origami-like design to provide structural strength. It can be manufactured for between $9 and $12, weighs just 20 lbs., and can support more than 450 lbs. The current version of the . bike is made of 100% recycled material, and there is an option to add an electric motor.
