Matthews House Ballroom and Conference Center

Anchoring the west end of Chatham Street in historic downtown Cary, North Carolina stands the stately, Matthews House (circa 1915). Sited on a little more than 1/2 acre, this Greek Revival structure is enhanced with a surrounding wrought iron fence between brick piers, stately pecan, oak, and walnut trees, and manicured landscaping that greet the guests upon arrival. Purchased in 2001 by Carroll and Sheila Ogle, the mansion was lovingly restored and refurbished to accent and reflect the original elegance that had been destroyed over the years.
