Western Campus Addition & Renovation, Wayne County Community College District

The Wayne County Community College District Western Campus is one campus of a five-campus system. The Western Campus service area includes the only portion of Wayne County where population is expected to increase. As enrollments increased and educational programs evolved expansion and upgraded facilities became necessary. In addition, the existing campus building was a two story, 176,985 square foot, rectangular building, enclosed by vertical stainless steel industrial siding. The college desired this industrial expression to be replaced with a collegiate, higher education image.
