Alamo Heights High School Fine Arts

The Alamo Heights High School in San Antonio, Texas is known for its excellence as a college preparatory high school. Students have their pick of a wide selection of extra-curricular opportunities. The school in keeping pace with its needs, wanted to update and add more space for their Fine Arts program and selected OCO LPA to meet this need. A 13,000-square-foot building was added with new spaces for band, orchestra, and chorale curriculum along with the renovation of the existing 9,500-square-foot music building. OCO LPA facilitated collaboration with the fine arts departments to understand the process and the technology used to teach music and how to incorporate it into their design. Flex spaces are shared in the new addition by multiple departments and each department has its own dedicated storage rooms.
