Magnetic particle technology: Desalination and water reuse applications

摘要

The evolutionary nature of CSIRO research into new high rate water treatment systems, initiated with SIROTHERM desalination, and progressing to magnetic ion exchange and to the use of magnetic iron oxide as a primary coagulant as in the SIROFLOC series of processes, is reviewed.
