Evolution rather than revolution

One of the MAA's earliest priorities has been to significantly improve military aviation regulations. The MAA Regulatory Review (MAARR) project was a direct result of the Haddon-Cave report into the loss of Nimrod XV230 over Afghanistan in 2006. The objective was to achieve a regulatory set that was focused on risk-to-life, while also being easy to read, teach, assimilate and apply.
