Volume Ⅱ of this special issue of the Journal of Decision Support System includes a collection of papers that continue the general theme of contribution to various topics in and market design associated with the restructuring of the electric power industry. The paper "On Financial Transmission Rights and Market Power" by G. Pritchard and A. Pillpott studies the market implications of allocating Financial Transmission Rights employing an auction based market mechanism. It examines several market power-related issues under various market distribution functions situations.
