Decision Sciences Journal - Call for Papers Focused Issue on 'Exploring Innovations in Global Supply Chain Networks'

Given the global dispersion of supply chain networks, innovations are no longer the result of efforts put forth within the boundaries of a single firm. In fact, practicing firms have come to realize that they need to increasingly rely on the competencies of a multiplicity of firms within their global supply chain network in order to innovate. While the relevance of exploring innovations from the global supply chain network perspective cannot be denied from both practical and academic points of view, there seems to be an obvious disconnect between the importance attributed by practice and the current state of academic research focusing on exploring innovations in global supply chain networks.
