One of the major concerns for India is the number of people still living below poverty line (BPL). Although a lot of initiatives have been taken by several states for these people, healthcare is one of the major focus areas that have come under the scanner of several governance projects. Andhra Pradesh was one such state that launched an initiative as part of its e-governance project, known as Aarogyasri Health Insurance Scheme.
