Pension Mein No Tension: pensioners in Jharkhand now enjoying timely disbursal, thanks to the new software

The Jharkhand government gave the go-ahead for the de-velopment and application of a web based software called old age pensioner's payment and monitoring system in Dhanbad. This proved to be a step forward in the Indira Gandhi National old age pensioners scheme (IGNOAPS); and state old age pension scheme (SOAPS) under national social assistance program (NSAP). The application includes features like online monthly advice generation, continuous online updating of data of old age pensioners, online receipt of fresh application forms of pension from kiosks (pragya kendras).
