As 'future CEOs waiting in the wings' these young achievers-CIOs/IT heads-can best be described as restless, energetic go-getters. When we decided to profile these below 40 technocrats, we were pleasantly surprised to find quite a few, contrary to our apprehension. And the best part is that this group is a mixed bag. A few like Titus Gunaseelan, Prashant Cherukuri and Puneet Kaur Kohli were initiated into the technology right from the start of their careers, there are others like Manish Gupta who worked as a consultant and was a reluctant CIO in the start or Atul Luthra, an operations manager at the start of his career and was attracted to technology.
