A couple of years ago we heard of Compuware 2.0, then came Compuware Corporation followed by just Compuware. We also heard of a few changes and restructuring at the company. It sold off the application testing/automated software quality (ASQ) solutions and all related sales, support, and development to Micro Focus for around $80 mn. The activities in the head office percolated down in the regions including India. Compuware, though familiar to many, was still in the phase of redefining its identity.
