NVIDIA Bets Big on Deep Learning and VR at GTC

Nvidia is no longer confined in its old peripheries as the company is investing aggressively in virtual reality (VR) and deep learning (artificial intelligence). In San Jose at its annual GTC event, NVIDIA chief executive officer Jen-Hsun Huang has put the company's vision and focus forth. In his address, Huang primarily laid stress on VR and deep learning.NVIDIA'S movement from the graphics chip business to VR and deep learning outlines its focus on the future technologies. But NVIDIA'S VR and Al vision is not purely divorced from the chips which are used for games. Huang informed the audience how these chips are being used for more than just games. His presentation was replete with simulated videos of mars and Mt Everest.
