Quantum's new Super DLTtape systems are designed to meet the evolving storage demands of mid-range to enterprise-level server environments. Backward read compatible with DLTtape technology, the Super DLTtape platform is also highly scalable with an architecture designed for multiple product generations. Storage capacity will start at 110 GB and evolve to over 1 TB on a single cartridge, while transfer rates will start at 11 MB/sec and evolve to over 100 MB/sec. (All figures are native, uncompressed mode.)
