摘要

Adhesives have been important components of mass storage assemblies for many years. The trend towards smaller precision assemblies has helped push spot curing systems use to the forefront of new manufacturing technologies. Radiation curing produces fast, precise and reliable assemblies. In contrast to traditional adhe-sives, there are no solvents to evaporate and few out-gassing concerns. Nonetheless with adhesive quantities in nanoliters, there is a critical need for precision and accuracy within the curing parameters with regard to light bandwidth in nanometers, irradiance intensity in milliwatts per square centimeter, irradiance dosage in millijoules per square centimeter and exposure time in seconds.
