The word "virtual" gets a real workout in this business. First we had virtual reality (you can see it, but it's not there). Then came virtual LANs (you can't see them, but they are there). Now I've found another word for "virtual" to modify-"shipping." Put the two together and you've got a good description of the now-you-see-them, now-you-don't products most ATM vendors say they're ready to deliver.
