Windows 95: Jekyll and Hyde on the Enterprise

We haven't seen the type of hype that we're seeing for Windows 95 in a long time; that surrounding the release of IBM's OS/2 in 1987 pales in comparison. It ended up taking seven years for OS/2 to evolve into a useful operating system (Warp 3.0), but it didn't benefit from what Windows 95 has: a decent platform it can run on (as opposed to low-memory 286s) and 400,000 beta-testers.
