Yamaha's FZ1 is about as modern a standard as you can get these days, with sharp styling and monochrome paintjobs fitting its role in the Tuning Fork Folks' lineup. But if you've got a retro bent and happen to be a fan of Lawson, Rainey, Roberts and the rest of Yamaha's roadrac-ing greats, consider the recently released retro bodywork kit. The $1600 kit fits 2006-09 models and includes a fuel tank, airbox cover, seat cowl, fairing, front fender and tailsection, all painted in white/red/black racing livery. There is even red rim tape to apply those cool stripes. It's a straightforward bolt-on job you could probably finish in an afternoon. Make your FZ1 feel new again.
