A Reader on Both Cybernetics and Systems Theory

This is a reader covering both historic and contemporary perspectives not only within what is usually called systems theory, but also, and more interestingly for readers of this journal, of second-order currents within cybernetics and of other descendant ways of thinking from the Macy Conferences. The editor, Darrell Arnold, obtained articles from different authors on many of the most important intellectual currents in these fields, past and present.
