Hospital case shows remarkable recovery

Capital Coast Health has won this year's Beta Award for its work in Wellington Hospital's clinical services building. The work has involved upgrading or replacing some 3450 fluorescent light fittings. In the process, it has dropped the connected load of the lighting installation from 704 kW to 283 kW and annual lighting costs by nearly 62 percent. The $676,600 cost of doing so is expected to be paid back in about three and a half years.
